EuroFusion 2023 Meeting

News: We are very pleased to announce our attendance at the upcoming EuroFusion 2023 Meeting organized by the European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion in Strassbourg on the 27th and 28th of October of 2023 at the IRCAD convention center together with our colleagues from KM Innovations B.V..

We still have good memories of last year’s ECoPEaT meeting October in Milano, were we first presented our MDR certified Heater Cooler System on the international podium. Looking forward to take part again and meet with perfusionists from all across Europe (and beyond).

Clinical Introduction Amphia Hospital Breda

Update: We’ve recently performed the installation, in-service and clinical training of our HCTronic Heater Cooler system at the Amphia Ziekenhuis in Breda. The first cases have been performed, a highlight certainly was the Supra Coronary Aortic Reconstruction (SCAR) procedure including Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest and selective brain perfusion. Uneventful case, impressed by the team performing the surgery. Many thanks to all people involved for their contribution to the successful implementation. Special thanks to the team from maatschap ECCare, I greatly enjoyed the professional approach and pleasant interaction.

News: We are very pleased to announce that our HCTronic Heater-Cooler system will be featured during the Scientific program of the 22nd EcOPEaT meeting in Milano on the 8th of October, organized by the European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusionists (EBCP).

Announcement: HCTronic Heater Cooler B.V. will be attending the upcoming NeSECC/BelSECT Scientific meeting on the 24th of September at the Domusdela in Eindhoven! We simply can’t wait to interact with more professionals from the field and present our brand new generation of Heater-Cooler systems. We will also be taking part in the “speed date” sessions that day, a great opportunity for us to obtain valuable feedback. Looking forward to meet you there….

First HCTronic Heater-Cooler System installed at the Erasmus MC Medical Center in Rotterdam

During recent months, our first HCTronic Heater-Cooler System installed at the Erasmus MC Medical Center in Rotterdam has been utilized during a wide variety of cardiac procedures ranging from straight forward normothermic CABG surgery to complex aortic surgery procedures requiring deep cooling. We are glad to announce that based on their early experience, we have received approval to start converting all Operating Rooms to our new system, which obviously is a great milestone!

The HCS-1 device is a class IIb medical device in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745.
